The finance committee is responsible for overseeing Parish finances through management of income and expenditure for the parish.

This is to ensure the parish buildings and associated infrastructures are maintained in good order and condition.

  • Ongoing administration of the parish’s Planned Giving Programme and regular mass collections
  • Management of the parish’s bank accounts
  • Oversight of people engaged by the parish to carry out tasks and work


Finance committee members must have extensive experience and skills in order to support the parish in the following areas:

  • financial management
  • financial reporting
  • legal
  • property
